Ozarks Equity Fund 2010
We will begin this month by offering investors in the Springfield Metropolitan Area the opportunity to invest in the Ozarks Equity Fund 2010.
In meeting with financial institutions, developers and community leaders, we have learned that they share a belief that sustained investment in affordable housing is one building block to a strong community. As a result, they have asked for our help in forming a pool of investors to assure that good quality properties have sufficient equity to sustain their success.
Investors in the pool can be sure that their investments will remain in the Springfield Metro Area and that they will have a voice in the governance of the Fund. We are convinced that it will be possible to succeed in Springfield without diminishing our succes in the Kansas City region.
During the past few weeks we have met with investors in KCEF and SLEF that also have a footprint in the Ozarks and hope that these investors will form the core of the Ozarks Equity Fund this year. And we have identified promising properties in which to invest, making this a good time to proceed.
